ABOUT US

We are Pasquale and James Koutoulas, two brothers, best friends and co owners of Adelphia Construction. Adelphia Construction began as a painting company founded by our father, Konstantinos, in 1970. We spent our entire childhoods helping our immigrant father run his company by accompanying him at all of his jobs. We had large passions for painting, but we dreamt of more. James decided to attend college for architecture and Pasquale for mechanical engineering and law. Our journey took an unexpected turn in 1992 when our beloved father passed away unexpectedly and we, at the daunting ages of 21 and 18, decided to no longer attend college to continue our fathers’ business and legacy, and to support our mother, Maria, and ourselves. 

Over the past 32 years, we have taken our fathers’ humble painting company and evolved it into a full service general contractor company. Our father's dedication and passion for his craft inspired us, but we had dreams to expand our services far beyond painting. We’ve added new dimensions to our offerings with each passing year. We’ve specialized in everything from small renovation work to building houses from scratch to large commercial projects. Every project has become an opportunity to showcase our skills and dedication to our clients. Our attention to detail and quality work has led to our clients working with us over and over again. 

The love for our clients, work and each other is proven in our name, Adelphia Construction. Adelphia Construction was once called Koutoulas Painting.. In 2007, we renamed the company to “Adelphia”, a Greek word meaning “Brotherhood”, to represent the strong bond between us as not only brothers but co owners of our business. Spending every day and every job together has proven our adelphia. Our adelphia wouldn’t be as strong and amazing as it is today without our amazing clients and years of hard work.
